Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan (FELDA)
FELDA and Limkokwing-MDI are to collaborate on efforts to achieve a new vision of a reinvigorated and dynamic agency. They will concentrate on the innovation of branding and packaging design for food, textiles, craft and other FELDA products. Also, they will work on joint capacity-building plans for the development and promotion of FELDA entrepreneurs.
Set up in 1956, FELDA is Malaysia’s largest land development agency, operating more than 460 land schemes across the country. It has settled nearly 114,000 families on 811,000 hectares of land planted with oil palm, rubber, cocoa, timber, sugarcane and coffee.
With a 21,300-strong workforce, FELDA runs more than 20 joint ventures with overseas partners. It owns over 70 palm oil mills, seven refineries, six kernel crushing plants, five liquid bulking facilities and one oleochemical plant. Its annual revenue amounts to RM7 billion.
