Official Opening of Limkokwing Borneo
The Limkokwing Borneo was launched in Kuching on 19 February 2009, marking the second campus for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Malaysia.
The launching was seen as a support to the development of The Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE)
YABhg Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, the Chief Minister of Sarawak who hailed the ceremony describe the university establishment there as "Creative education — the best gift to young Sarawakians"
Moreover, the opening of Limkokwing Borneo was seen as effort is not only for the students but also to meet the demand of the industry and at the same time to contribute to the development of Sarawak and the nation.
