Limkokwing University visit gives Indian MBA students new entrepreneurial perspectives

42 MBA students and two representatives from Guruvayurappan Institute of Management (GIM) in Tamil Nadu, India, visited Limkokwing University on Friday 29 August.
GIM’s Representative Mr. Parthiban Sivasankaran who accompanied the students said, “all of these students are in their final year of our MBA programme. This trip is part of the course where they are shown what it is really like in the industry. We chose to visit Limkokwing University as we consider this university to be among the best in innovative education.”
The visit was hosted by Dr. Kulandayan Ramanathan from the Limkokwing Post Graduate Centre and attended by other members of the University management team. Dr. Ramanathan introduced these MBA students to the various opportunities and services provided by Limkokwing from the business perspective as befit these students’ status as postgrad business students. They were briefed on how Limkokwing entrepreneurial spirits were inculcated into its students and how the students were guided and nurtured to success. The GIM MBA students were shown the various successful Limkowing brands that started out as incubation projects and now were successful brands on their own.
Following the tour, there was a short Q&A session where Dr. Ramanathan briefed the students the opportunities for higher studies to those interested to sit to the doctorate level at Limkokwing University.
