Limkokwing University and representatives from Ukraine have begun talks on a possible collaboration that could see even more students from the Eastern European nation studying here in Malaysia.

A delegation from the Embassy of Ukraine and Ukrainian Cultural Association were welcomed at the Cyberjaya campus on 13 February 2018, led by Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia, His Excellency Mr. Olexander Nechytaylo.

Also in attendance were President of Ukrainian Cultural Association, Lidiya Mugunthan and Careclinics Healthcare Services COO, Dr. Mugunthan.

The delegation were visibly awestruck by the global culture they witnessed on campus and were impressed with the latest achievements of both the University and its Founder and President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Limkokwing, during the tour of the Presidential Library.

“The global environment here is so creative and I can’t really recall any Universities that I know of having students from over 160 countries around the world under one roof,” said Mr. Nechytaylo during a face-to- face meeting with Tan Sri Limkokwing and the senior management team.

Mr. Nechytaylo said Limkokwing University is a place that would enable Ukrainian students to achieve the impossible, through creative and innovative learning. “The idea of bringing everyone together and allowing cultures to bond together is totally amazing,” said Mr. Nechytaylo during the meeting.

Lidiya Mugunthan was also very impressed with the melting pot of cultural diversity at Limkokwing and said she was very keen to ensure Ukraine plays a more active role in future cultural events on campus.

“Cultural collaborations with this prestigious University will open doors to broader opportunities, especially to enable the people back in Ukraine to further understand about Limkokwing,” said Mr. Olexander.
