Ambassador of Palestine to Malaysia, His Excellency Walid Abu Ali received a warm welcome during his visit to Limkokwing University’s flagship campus in Cyberjaya on 4 December 2019 to discuss possible future collaboration.

After an update of the University’s recent activities and achievements through a guided tour of the Presidential Library, the influential ambassador met with Founder and President of Limkokwing, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing and the University’s senior management team.

Following up with the last meeting, when both parties signed an MoU aimed at the mutual benefit of conducting joint research activities and exchanging academic materials, His Excellency begun by expressing his gratitude towards the university for accommodating students from Palestine here at Limkokwing.

“We are very impressed and appreciative of Limkokwing University for being the university with the highest number of Palestinian students in Malaysia,” he said.

With blessings from the Prime Minster and President of Palestine, he broached his interest in potentially opening a Limkokwing University campus in Palestine with intention to provide equal opportunity and education access to the locals as well as to expand Limkokwing’s presence in the Middle East.

As Tan Sri Limkokwing’s advocacy for peace and education shows clear solidarity and supports Palestinian students by offering scholarships, His Excellency Walid humbly requested for an increase in number of scholarships to encourage and motivate the youth of Palestine to further their education.

Having already conquered regions of Africa, Asia and The United Kindgom, Limkokwing is looking forward to broadening their influence in The Middle East.
