Hard work came to fruition for Limkokwing University’s Faculty of Multimedia and Creativity students who showcased their final year projects during the GAMEX exhibition held from 13 to 14 June 2019 at Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC).
The exhibition provided an important opportunity for students to showcase skills they have acquired throughout the duration of their programme to their parents, industry/potential employers, friends and the public.
About 60 multidisciplinary projects were on display for students who completed BA (Honours) and Diploma across seven streams of Multimedia Creativity namely Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Creative Multimedia, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Animation, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Games Art Development, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Games Design, Diploma in Interactive Multimedia, Diploma in Games Art and Diploma in Animation & Multimedia Design.
Fatima Hajjar from Syria studying Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Animation acknowledged that she saw substantial growth as a Limkokwing final year student.
In explaining the concept of her project ‘The Box of Hope’ Fatima said, “My project showcases the struggles happening in my war-torn country and the hope that still hold in our hearts. It was a dream for me to come and study at Limkokwing University, not only has it provided me with a quality education, it inspired me to pursue my dreams and excel in life.”
For Atikha Amjad from Pakistan every semester had something new to offer.
Studying at Limkokwing University has not only opened several doors and opportunities for me, it boosted my confidence and prepared me for the real-world. I have seen many positive changes in myself and I will never forget the experience I had at Limkokwing University. I plan to pursue my Master’s degree in multimedia,” added Atikha.
