Limkokwing explores collaboration with Senegal International School of Management

Students from International School of Management (ISM), Senegal paid a visit to Limkokwing University’s flagship campus in Cyberjaya on 10 July 2018.
The purpose of the ISM visit was for students to familiarise themselves with campus facilities, departments and programmes as they will be joining the University’s Centre for Postgraduate studies.
After the tour, lecturers from the Post Graduate Centre (PGC) gave students an in-depth presentation on what is on offer.
Associate Professor Dr. Valliappan Raju said, “As Limkokwing PGC lecturers, we have the responsibility of informing you in detail what we offer.
“We are aware that some of you have degrees from different backgrounds for example, fashion, business, technology, banking and so on, in view of this we have an MBA in General Management programme which is designed to cater for everyone’s needs,” he added.
Dr. Valliappan also elaborated on how Limkokwing University programmes have helped many students kick-start rewarding careers upon graduation.
PGC offers Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Management, Master in Digital Film & Television, Master of Art in Fashion & Brand Management, MSc Software Management, MSc Computer Networking, MBA Sports Management, MBA Finance & Banking, MBA in Project Management and MBA in Communication and Public Relations.
Exploring Partnership Opportunities
ISM Associate Director and Coordinator, Mr. Simeon Diouf Youssoupha, said that after touring the world’s best universities, Limkokwing University stood out as the right choice.
“We decided to bring our students here to learn more about it. It is of reason also to explore possibilities of a partnership between ISM and Limkokwing University.”
“In terms of students’ accomplishments, Limkokwing matches our philosophy with regard to hands-on training and learning by doing. I feel very comfortable for our students who will come here, I’m convinced that here they will feel right at home.”
Ndeye Fatou Toure from Senegal expressed her delight in having the opportunity to study for her masters’ degree at Limkokwing University.
She plans to choose a programme in international management.
“I feel Limkokwing University is where one needs to be when they want to fully express their creativity and talents. I was amazed when I saw the works displayed in the Presidential Library. Here, you’ll be able to make your dreams come true,” she said.
Formed in 1992, ISM’s mission is to train a new generation of African leaders as well as strengthen citizens’ commitment to promote quality higher education.
The school has trained some 20,000 leaders and managers from some thirty countries around the world.
