Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Professional Communication

The importance of communication as an integral part of individual success is recognised in this programme as it strives to equip students with the ability to communicate at all levels of society. Students are exposed to the varied skills of communication, advertising, public relations, writing and marketing as well as the soft skills of interacting well with people to enhance communication effectiveness.

Entry Requirements

Cyberjaya

    • A pass in STPM/A-Level or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects and a credit in English at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent OR
    • A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR
    • A Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR
    • A Diploma in Media and Communication or its equivalent OR
    • Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in English at SPM or its equivalent. AND
    • English Proficiency Requirement for International student

    IELTS 5.0 OR TOEFL iBT 34 OR TOEFL PBT 410-413 OR CAE160 (Cambridge Advance English) OR CPE 180(Cambridge Proficiency English) OR CFE 154-161(Cambridge First English) OR PTE 36(Pearson Test of English Academic) OR MUET Band 3

Freetown

    Government Sponsorship

    • Degree level: 5 credits of WASSCE or O Levels in not more than two sittings or 4 credits together with a Higher Teacher's Certificate (HTC)/ Higher National Certificate (HND) from a recognised institution.

    The following are recognised as credit passes: - WAEC/GCE O Level (Grade 1 to 6); WASSCE (Grade A1 to C6); AEB and University of London Examinations taken in or after 1973 (Grade A to C).

    Direct Entrance

    Any of the following passes in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (A.C.S.E.E) or equivalent:

    • Two principal Level passes and one subsidiary at the same sitting;
    • Two principal level passes not at the same sitting provided they are both "C" or higher.

Gaborone

  • Pass STPM / A Levels with minimum 2 principals; OR
  • Pass Foundation / Matriculation programme in related field; OR
  • Pass Diploma in related field; OR
  • Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
  • Students with a recognised Diploma in related field will be given advanced standing into the Degree Programme.

Phnom Penh

  • Certificate of Upper Secondary High School – Grade 12 (Pass the National High School Exam)
  • Foundation certificate from Limkokwing University or another recognised Institute Credit Transfer Students:
    Students who wish to further their studies at Limkokwing University from another programme or institution can submit their transcripts for advance standing entry. Credit exemption will be given for students who demonstrate sufficient ability in their chosen fields.
  • English Language Proficiency
    English certificate from a recognised institution of learning or IELTS 5.0/ TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent. Students who do not satisfy the minimum English entry requirement must first take an English course at the University before proceeding into their Associate Degree programme. The duration of the English course will determined by an English aptitude test.

Maseru

    • A minimum of 5 C grades including a C in English and/English Literature, with Drama as an added advantage for BA (Hons) in Digital Film. or
      Diploma in Mass Communication
