Limkokwing University of Creative Technology hosted the world's biggest high school debate championship from 20 to 23 February 2014. A total of 69 high schools all over Malaysia and over 200 teams participated in this challenge.

The opening government speakers from SMK Sri Permata 3, Kishen Sivabalan and Nimalan Gunandran brought forward their points stating that political leaders are necessarily the combatants or the direct chain of contribution to war. They are indirectly the military head and should practice civilian death prevention. Political leaders are seen as dictators and a threat to ignite any kind of war.

While the opening opposition debaters Mohd Aliff Firdaus and Muhammad Tariq bin Azlan from Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah 1 argued that assassinating political leaders doesn’t solve a war neither remove the cause of conflicts. They proposed that instead criminal political leaders can be brought to international court to portray true justice.

Taking over the moment, closing government controlled by SMK Sri Permata 1 keynoters, Roshan Sivabalan and Siddharta Adaikalaraj firmly said its quantity versus quality in the case, the one who is in fault has to die to protect many which reflects moral victory.

For the closing opposition teammates, Tan Xi Shern and Nicholas Jayakumar from Kolej Tuanku Jaafar 2 concluded from their side by saying that killing a political leader doesn’t kill the whole political team but only tarnishes the country’s image. They also voiced out that the consequences will lead into a non-ending war.

SMK Sri Permata team; Kishen Sivabalan and Nimalan Gunandran walked away as grand champions of this semi-final round and advanced into the finals alongside the other SMK Sri Permata team consisting of Roshan Sivabalan and Siddharta Adaikalaraj.
