Ir. Dr. Mohd Shahreen Zainooreen Madros, the CEO of MATRADE, visited Limkokwing University to discuss possible future collaborations between MATRADE and Limkokwing University.
He was accompanied by three of his senior officers, namely Zuhaila Sedek (Senior Manager, Strategic Communications Unit), Mohd Termizi Piee (Manager, Strategic Communications Unit) and Faizal Haris (Manager, Stakeholder Management) on 11 April 2017.
MATRADE (Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation) is Malaysia’s national trade promotion agency aimed at promoting Malaysian export and enabling local companies to carve new frontiers in global markets. It is also actively involved in assisting foreign companies to connect with local product and service suppliers. MATRADE has a presence in 40 locations across major commercial cities worldwide.
Limkokwing University has in the past collaborated with MATRADE in various initiatives designed to achieve mutual cooperation with African countries in overcoming global challenges through capacity building.
Limkokwing University has a presence in four African countries, with campuses in Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Sierra Leone. The University has been applauded for its global presence, diverse student community and an unconventional learning experience which stimulate creativity and innovation.
