Limkokwing University welcomed a group of guidance teachers and counsellors from Pekan, Pahang on 25 September 2017.
The 37 teachers and counsellors visited the Cyberjaya campus as part of the University’s initiative to provide school leavers with educational opportunities to study in a multicultural learning environment.
During the visit, they were given a tour of all the creative and innovative facilities on campus, and a chance to gain first-hand experience of the University’s conducive learning environment.
“I see Limkokwing University as an interesting place to study,” said guidance counsellor Jamiuddin Kasim from Sekolah Kebangsaan Ahmad. “We learned that students have the opportunity to receive government scholarships to pursue their studies here at Limkokwing.”
“This is one of the few Universities that caters to multinationals which will benefit students in the long run,” he added.

Jamiuddin added that the University’s global network would enable students from rural communities to receive international exposure.
“Students from rural communities will be able to learn and communicate with people from around the world,” he said.
Limkokwing University strives to maintain close ties with rural communities across the country in order to to foster social development and enable students from all walks of life to gain industry exposure and global networking opportunities.
