Four teams were tasked to create “the one app that is desperately needed that has yet to be realised”. The teams conducted research on current status of the global mobile application market, reviewed major players and investors, studied success stories and explored potential emerging markets.
Limkokwing University also offered a prize of GBP£300 to the winning team. This prize is given to enable the students to launch their winning idea into the commercial marketplace.
The Malaysia Creative Tech Showcase 2015 event at Limkokwing University enabled guests and visitors to take part in one-to-one Business Matching sessions, which booked meetings with participating creative businesses with which they would be interested in working with (including .SimpliPhi, MegaSap, Emgraft, Loonaq, Aerodyne, and Infinite Motion, among others).
