Launch: Malaysia Africa Innovation Council - Facilitating Social and Economic Transformation through Innovation

Limkokwing University successfully launched Malaysia- Africa Innovation Council during a press conference on 21 February 2020 at its flagship campus in Cyberjaya.
Chaired by Founder and President of Limkokwing University Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing, the council’s vision is to lead sustainable transformation and economic growth as well as enhance bilateral ties among African nations and Malaysia.
Its main objectives also include providing training and education programmes; Digital leadership to support members in promoting a healthy business environment; strengthening commercial ties between countries while providing high-quality business information and resources.
Giving his opening remarks Deputy Chairman (Protem Council) Mr. Shahul Dawood said, “I can’t think of a better individual to chair this cause than Tan Sri Limkokwing - while most of us are still envisioning a better future for Africa, he has achieved many significant milestones and made bold moves along the years.”
“This council will enhance the strength of the existing relationship between Malaysia and Africa which will bring business, innovation and educational progression. As we expand to Namibia, Uganda, Nigeria and Rwanda this year, we look beyond educational ties and have plans to expand in many other sectors and experience the biggest digital transformation yet, ” he added.
