Thirty-three students from the Brunei Kolej International Graduate School (KIGS) graduated from the Global Campus Programme on 21 April at Limkokwing University.
The two-week programme, themed ‘Embrace Hybrid Technology to Boost Economy’, is structured to combine a range of educational, industry and cultural activities that give participants the opportunity to gain unique insights within the professional framework of Malaysia.
The second week of the programme—which enabled the participants to visit museums, cultural centres and financial hubs around Kuala Lumpur—was aimed to provide the participants with the opportunity to get a glimpse into the country’s rich history and current financial capability. Participants visited the National Museum, the Central Bank of Malaysia as well as various commercial districts.
During the programme, the participants were carefully guided by Limkokwing University’s team of professional educators. These educators were able to provide participants with extensive knowledge on various topics.
“I have learned and seen new things,” said KIGS Bachelor in Information Technology student Akmaluddin Khalil bin Hj Idris about the programme. “We got to immerse ourselves more.”
He also added that the educators were very open minded and provided them with a unique teaching experience that made the programme informative and enjoyable. “They were more practical with the knowledge they shared.”
It was a very fruitful experience for KIGS student Norkhairunnisa Bte Hj Matussin who is studying Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, “They brought us to places that enabled us to implement our knowledge back in our home country,” she said. “The educators were very professional and helped us to understand more about technology and business practise in Malaysia.”
Limkokwing University is a multicultural educational institution that provides students with the opportunity to receive global and practical exposure. Students gain access to industry practises and networking opportunity to compete in an international level.
