A year after graduating from Limkokwing University’s Master of Arts in International Contemporary Art & Design Practice in 2017, David Kimani founded a design agency called Visual Variety which assists freelance designers to connect and collaborate with both local and international companies to outsource designers for their projects.

A few years later, he changed route to the financial sector and founded a Fintech company, Advantech Digital Holding Limited where he is now the Director.

The success of Visual Variety influenced David’s decision to venturing into the financial sector. Utilising the agency’s business contacts and design experience, a Crypto product: AdvanCapital™ was debuted powered by his company and its Fintech partners. The company’s social media and website development ideas are guided by the design proposals and innovation of Visual Variety.

Steered by a mission to create an open financial and investment for all, the company offers users the ability to accept, store, spend and exchange digital assets on the go with the use of blockchain technology making crypto investing and trading easily accessible. It provides solutions to payment service providers, banks, crypto exchange startups as well as individuals and business.

David Kimani took a trip down memory lane of when he was still a student at Limkokwing University. He commended its unmatched creative education and its international ecosystem where he met people from different ethnic backgrounds and got to learn about different cultures. David worked as a student ambassador for five years and received an Award of University Colours University Ambassadorship. His work as an ambassador led him to collaborating with the Kenyan High commission in Kuala Lumpur where he met the tenth Vice-President of Kenya (2008 - 2013) Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka.
