Turning the old to gold

Yet again an amazing eye feast it was! Bravo to Limkokwing University Of Creative Technology’s very own Fashion Club.

Last week, Limkokwing’s Fashion and Retail Design students pulled out another creative runway with the theme ‘Old Glam’ with the idea of turning an old garment into a fresh innovative piece.

The show kicked started with a contemporary popping and locking performance by Lukas from Slovakia, a first year communication student who landed in Malaysia just a few days ago. It was also a pleasure to have Sama, a graduating graphic design student from Yemen to showcase her singing talent to the crowd.

Students and models of Limkokwing University paraded a total of 18 garments from designers who are currently pursuing their degree in the third and fourth semester. The buzz attracted almost 200 viewers within minutes to witness the fashion runway which is a weekly routine held on every Thursday at noon.

And of course the show was fairly conducted with our two entertaining emcees, the University ambassadors, Maya from Pakistan and Arms from Egypt.
