Limkokwing University welcomed over 80 students from SMK Puchong Permai School at its flagship campus in Cyberjaya on 18 July 2019.
The visit was designed to bring students on an informative and cultural journey of art, architecture, design and fashion.
They also learned about the University’s history, ecosystem and its innovative approach to education through an extensive tour of the campus facilities, presidential library, creative multimedia labs and the branding gallery.
SMK Puchong Permai School’s Education Counselor CR. Siti Hawa Ismail acknowledged that it was not the first time she visited Limkokwing University and was delighted at how festive the welcoming they received to campus was.
“I visited Limkokwing University 10 years ago to attend the Hari Raya event happening in the plaza, it was a very festive event just like the welcoming we received today,” she said.
During the tour, the Head of School Counselor, CR. Norlela Abdul Rahman said, “We want our students to be exposed to diversity and creativity, which is why we chose Limkokwing.”
The students were grateful to have been given the opportunity to tour and learn about Malaysia’s Most Globalised University.
Seventeen year old Nurhazzana Hairunnizam was captured by the pieces of art displayed at the branding gallery.
“The pieces of art at the exhibition are amazing, I feel like I belong here,” said Nurhazzana.
For Mohd Nabil who wishes to study Graphic Design in Limkokwing, the University stands out as one of the most creative he has come across.
