14 July 2018 will always be a day to remember for students from the Limkokwing University graduating class of 2018.
More than a thousand students, accompanied by proud parents and family members, filled up the Plenary Hall at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) to beyond full capacity, and celebrated their academic achievement together with dignitaries, lecturers and staff from the University.
The graduation ceremony was graced by Limkokwing University Chancellor, DYMM Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Dr. Kalsom DK.
The ceremony was also celebrated in the presence of proud parents, as well as representatitives from embassies and high commissions from Afghanistan, Comoros, Laos, Lesotho, Namibia, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Royal Saudi, Senegal, Solomon Island, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen and Zambia.
The theme for this year’s graduation ceremony ‘Innovation Leadership’ was in recognition of Limkokwing University graduates being regarded worldwide as leading innovators and creative thinkers.
Limkokwing alumni today, across almost all industries, continue to inspire and motivate others, always at the forefront in driving innovation.

Limkokwing University Director of Corporate Communications, Datin Nikki Lugun, addressed the graduating class, urging them to change future challenges into opportunities.
“Class of 2018, you are entering an era of rapid transformation, emerging technologies are impacting lives and societies all over the world, so go out there and show the world what you are made of,” said Datin Nikki.
Proud parent of graduating student Amirul Fridaus, Mr. Haji Ariff Bin Haji Ghani, said that there can be no greater happiness for the family than seeing their youngest child prepared for a new phase in his life ahead.
Amirul graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architectural Studies.
“Now, I can bravely send my son abroad for further studies or work, knowing that Limkokwing University has given him the exposure to various cultures and the license to survive in any countires across the globe,” said Mr. Haji Ariff.
DYMM Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Dr. Kalsom DK, warmly congratulated the graduating students and conveyed warm wishes for their future ahead.
“Your hardwork, your committment, the skills and tools you have developed in your time in Limkokwing, all of these will carry you forward to new successes and I wish you bright and brilliant futures,” said the Sultanah.
