Brunei’s Kolej International Graduate Studies Management personnel recently visited Limkokwing University Cyberjaya to discuss issues pertaining both organisations collaboration. The group was led by the college’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson: PgHajah Fatimah binti Momin.
Kolej International Graduate School, formed to cater for the growing need of vocational education and training, particularly in the areas of business and information technology in Brunei. It runs 3-year full-fledged Limkokwing University Degree and Diploma programmes in Brunei. The college had come to discuss the possibility of running more Limkokwing University programmes, specifically programmes in digital multimedia and technopreneurship.
The group was given a campus tour of various Limkokwing University facilities that showcase the University’s development and community involvement. They also visited Limkokwing University’s multimedia labs, as the college intends to establish multimedia facilities in their campus, and were looking to Limkokwing University for advice.
The Limkokwing University labs, be it film production or multimedia, comprise of high technology, industry leading brands in computers, cameras, audio devices, and many other equipment necessary for the students.

On the campus tour around the University, the group saw the University’s creativity and international involvement. Commenting on the University’s projects, PgHajah Fatimah binti Momin commended the University on its achievements.

During their meeting with Tan Sri Limkokwing, the group requested Limkokwing University’s help in establishing professional development courses, as they intend to run such courses for their staff and industry leaders.
Limkokwing University has several short courses and continually run workshops for industry professionals who want to refresh and develop their careers. The most remarkable perhaps, is the Limkokwing University Mobile Academy; a comprehensive e-Learning portal that offers users unmatched self-education opportunities worldwide. The free portal offers material pulled from the Limkokwing University degree syllabus, and offers an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills, or refresh the current skills one already has.
