Fifty students from the Faculty of Design Innovation (FDI) presented their final year projects at the FDI Graduation Exhibition on 23 November 2018 on campus.
BA (Hons) in Creative Imaging and Digital Photography, BA (Hons) in Graphic and Web Design, BA (Hons) in Industrial Design, Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Proffesional Design (Visual Communication) and Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Transport Design students participated in the exhibition.
Jane Tan from Malaysia chose ‘Anti-violence Campaign – Scars’ for her final year project.
“I would like to address this topic as I would like create a connection for victims of violence to heal from scars together,” expressed Jane who will be graduating in December 2018 with a Bachelors of Design (Hons) in Proffesional Design.
She also shared that she faced many challenges in completing her project, which she overcame with the guidance from the lecturers in Limkokwing University.
The sentiment was echoed by Imene Djemili from Aljeria.
“The three years in Limkokwing University has provided me with various forms of opportunity which I have used to build myself and prepare myself for a promising career,” said Imene.
Imene, majoring in Visual Communication, Bachelors of Design (Hons) in Professional Design, chose “Obesity and Smoking in Malaysia” as her project title.
Rahul Siddhan, a lecturer from FDI, said that the students have put in a lot of effort for their projects.
“I am very proud to see their project outcome. I must say that Limkokwing has provided them a platform to improve and bring their skills out on an industrial level,” he added.
