This programme is designed to equip and provide students with a thorough grounding in the area of modern business approaches with the use of information technology:
- Theoretical foundation of IT: ground concepts of IT, emphasising the importance of techniques and tools used;
- Current IT system: changes & converging technologies and their potential for increased organisational efficiency;
- Management perspective: understanding of the role of information flow systems in various organisations, how new systems are conceived, designed, developed, implemented and evaluated;
- Socio-economic, political and legislative perspectives: insight into IT and its impact on people & organisations.
