Senator’s daughter also renders song for King

13 July 2013

The daughter of former ICT minister Nelsiwe Shongwe also had a song to sing for His Majesty on a day the King received recognition for developing his people.

Titled ‘Your Majesty’, Thandiwe Shongwe led the Limkokwing University choir with an emotional performance that was well appreciated by the King and all present.

She wrote the lyrics to the song with a chorus,“We offer thanks and praise for our King, Siyabonga Ngwenyama yetfu, cause Power and Might are thine alone, Your Majesty.”

Shongwe is enrolled for a course in software engineering and she described singing as a God given talent that she regards as a hobby.

Another member of the choir was Vuyiswa Msibi, the daughter of Senator Themba Mshibi. She is doing media studies in broadcasting and advertising.
