Ten students from China received recognition for their hard work and effort in their studies from 360 Education Group on 25 October.

360 Education Group is an education group based in China that offers an opportunity for Chinese students to study abroad. The education group also provides services such as application, language training, migration, education investment, overseas investment and network operations.

The group has signed a cooperation agreement with more than 800 educational institutions in more than 30 countries. These include Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. This agreement covers more than 3,000 primary schools, high schools and universities overseas.

“We hope that these kind of events would help encourage more outstanding students to pursue their studies in Malaysia,” said Luo Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Lisichen 360 Education. “We have the responsibility to help the students to inspire them and help them to receive global educational opportunities.”

“We would like to explore opportunities for students to study abroad,” he said. He also added that he hopes more students from China would become interested in studying at Limkokwing University in order to benefit from a multicultural learning environment.

According to him, international competition is becoming more competitive and students need to be fully prepared. This is why the 360 Education Group encourages global learning and multicultural awareness together with Limkokwing University.

This collaboration would benefit the students by instilling global knowledge and cultural understanding. At the same time, these awards signify the importance of hard work and commitment towards their studies.

“This award means that my effort has been recognised,” said Master in Digital Film and Television student Zhu Simeng. “The University’s multicultural environment and support from my lecturers had helped me a lot.”

For Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fashion student Su Meng, the award will help her to establish a fashion workshop after completing her studies.

“This recognition will help me in my future,” she said. “It will help me to start my business.”

Limkokwing University provides students with real world practice through industry exposure and multicultural environment. Students gain experience and networking opportunities to compete in a globalised environment.
