8 November 2014

Limkokwing University will be the host for the music and tech talk elements of #CJPlayground, the Cyberjaya Creative Playground Festival, on 14 and 15 November 2014.

Co-hosted by Cyberview, Go International Group and Spotgamers, the Cyberjaya Creative Playground Festival (#CJPlayground) is a three-day festival containing three discrete elements of music, games and tech talk. The festival will bring together an international panel forum featuring technologists and entrepreneurs, gaming and live music – all which are platforms for youths to learn, be inspired, discover and create new innovation and ideas.

Faris Yahaya, managing director of Cyberview said the aim of #CJPlayground is to bring these talents together so that they can inspire one another. He remarked, “We hope that through this interaction and meeting of minds, everyone can share and explore ideas, find new growth opportunities and maybe even boost their entrepreneurial skills to commercialize their creative performances, designs, products and ideas”.

Limkokwing University will be hosting the music and tech talk elements of the festival, while the games element will held in Multimedia University.

For the music element, three different concerts will be held on Limkokwing University premises, which will see the Global Battle of the Bands, the CJ Playground concert and the FEYST concert rocking the air.

The notable speakers for the talk will include Sheridan Tatsuno, Moacyr Alves Jr, Aubrey Sowito, and more. Famed entrepreneur David Garpenstahl, the former chief executive officer of digital festival Dreamhack will deliver the keynote address.
