On the 13th of March 2023, Sterilpharma’s Director Uwe Freitag visited Limkokwing University to deliver a talk with our students from various faculties.
Also present at the industry talk was the Senior Vice President of Limkokwing University, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim.
Sterilpharma is a small engineering company and service provider based in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as having a few agency agreements with European suppliers in the pharmaceutical industry. The company is mainly involved in Clean Utility Generation like Purified Water, Water for injection and Clean steam, followed by Sterilisation and cGMP washer solutions. They also provide sterile filling applications and secondary packaging solutions for liquid or solid goods.
Mr Freitag was ushered in with the sounds of the drums, followed by a campus tour. He was given a full tour of the presidential library. He got insights into the University’s ecosystem, milestones and prestigious achievements from the institution and its late Founding President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Limkokwing.
He then adjourned to the Hall of Fame, which served as a platform for knowledge sharing with students regarding the current trends in the industry, his success story and what’s next for him. Mr Freitag and his team are working on a device to help track blood sugar levels in diabetic patients and the general public for constant monitoring.
