Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Pelek and Limkokwing University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this month to set forth collaboration and interaction between both institutions by availing academic opportunities.
The collaboration features offering training to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Pelek teachers, joint programmes, seminars and workshops.
Present at the signing ceremony were the Rector of the Malaysian Institute of Teacher Education, YBrs. Dr Rusmini Binti Ku Ahmad, the Principal of SMK Sungai Pelek, En. Affandi Bin Hussin, Senior Vice President of Limkokwing University, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim, and Vice President for Marketing, Jérémy Roger, as well as 250 SMK Sungai Pelek students.
The two hundred and fifty students were given a full tour of the presidential library where they got insights of the University’s ecosystem, milestones and prestigious achievements from both the institution and its late Founding President Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Limkokwing. Lecturers across faculties also gave the students a full briefing on the University’s industry focused programmes and guided them on ones most suitable for their career paths.
With a long track record of delivering 21st century education, Limkokwing University is steadfast in continuing to form partnerships with local and international organisations alike in order to deliver an industry relevant curriculum - instilling students with high in demand skills for high income careers.
