Global Classroom students learned essential skills for group work during a workshop session on organisational change management.
The aim of the workshop was to lay down foundations for the month ahead and walk the students through the essential management tools they will use to complete their group projects.
The workshop was conducted by Limkokwing London lecturer, Edina Suto.
The students were divided into groups and assigned as ‘facilitators’ and ‘observers’. The facilitators were asked to coordinate and assign tasks within the group while observers were asked to take note of the interaction between group facilitators and members.
This activity gave the students an idea of the roles in each group best suited to each group member. It also showed the students what is required to work within a group, such as teamwork, leadership, commitment, tolerance and crisis management.
