A group of 33 school teachers from 11 schools and representatives of the Putrajaya Education Department (JPWPP) visited the Cyberjaya campus on 4 July 2018 to discuss collaboration on a school twinning programme.
After a tour of the Presidential Library, JPWPP Director, Puan. Hjh. Roaini Binti Jaafar, opened the discussion at the Branding Gallery by thanking Limkokwing University for the opportunity to collaborate, especially to
encourage school students to consider enrolling into creative and innovative courses provided by this institution.
“We hope to organize another visit by bringing the school students to be exposed to this multicultural environment,” said Pn. Hjh. Roaini.
She said that by doing this, the students would get a clearer picture of this University’s study culture and its diverse environment.
SMK Putrajaya Presint 5(1) Principal, Puan. Meriam Binti Abdul Karim said that Limkokwing’s cultural diversity is what makes it special and unique compared to other Universities.
“How often do you witness so many people from different parts of the world under one roof? It is very rare and I am proud to say that Malaysia has a University that is home to students from over 160 countries,” she said.
