Robert Walters’s Associate Director, Information Technology and Human Resources of Malaysia’s branch, Mr Derek Toh came forward to guide Limkokwing students on resume writing, interviewing skills and on gaining jobs.
Mr Derek pointed out to the students that a winning resume has to be written in a clear, concise and easy-to-read, chronological order and free of errors. He also informed that an employer only spend an average of 6.25 seconds looking at a candidate’s resume before deciding whether he or she is a fit for a job.
As he shared his experiences during interviews, Mr Derek gave a guide to successful interviewing skills and preparation that will increase the chances of a confident interview.
