The Selangor Government has announced a financial package called Pakej Kita Selangor 2.0 to assist students who are currently studying at the Selangor State IPTS campus.
In line with the announcement, the Selangor Student Government Assistance Programme (Program Bantuan Mahasiswa Kerajaan Negeri Selangor) delegation paid a visit to Limkokwing University to provide aid and assistance to students whose families fall under the B40 and M40 categories to reduce their financial burden. The programme was initiated by the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari under the Kita Selangor 2.0 Package on 9 June 2021.
Aiming to alleviate the financial burden of 7,500 students throughout the State of Selangor, who are pursuing their studies at Institutions of Higher Learning (IPT), the Selangor State Government has allocated RM1.5 million to implement this initiative.
Managed directly by the Selangor State Education Standing Committee. the assistance is part of the Selangor Native Student Development and Welfare Programme.
