It was indeed a delightful day at the momentous event, where Tertiary Education Council organised the fourth annual Tertiary Education Fair in order to chart a way forward with the soon to be freshman and assist them in choosing an institution which will best suit their future aspirations.
Limkokwing University of Creative Technology was part of this amazing event. A very warm welcome was what you got when you visited the Limkokwing stall. The design of the stall dictated its overall mood and energy; one enjoyed the warmth, not to mention the heat and generous hospitality and beautiful people of Limkokwing.
The University proved that it is a force to reckon with by scooping the Best Branded Stall for the fourth year in a row, and the 1st prize in the newly introduced Best University category, beating BUIST which came second, and the University of Botswana, which came third.
They put up banners to utilize space and create an inviting immaculate look. Limkokwing University provides quality education and training that is accessible to all learners through efficient and effective management of resources to enable the learners to attain full potential and contribute to national development.
Compared to last year, the stall was the most digital, and this showed that indeed Limkokwing is a provider of world class accessible education training.
Limkokwing’s approach to developing education in our country really contributes to the realisation of National Development goals. These national goals are encompassed within the long-term vision for Botswana, Vision 2016, with ‘an Informed and Educated Nation’ providing a specific anchor for tertiary education. Limkokwing directly contributes to this pillar through the development of the country’s high level learners and innovation capacity and will also be a key driver in the attainment of the other six pillars.
