Complex General Manager of IOI City Mall and Office Tower, Chris Chong, visited Limkokwing on 26 September and toured the Cyberjaya campus before meeting with University representatives.
Limkokwing Vice President of Brand Creativity and Talent Development, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim, said any future collaborations between both parties would have the potential to benefit both students and the residents of Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.
“IOI City Mall is more than just a shopping centre and Limkokwing University would be interested to share as many creative minds to make IOI the place to be for all our students,” she said during the meeting.
Chris said Limkokwing’s active involvement in the fashion world had prompted his interest in the possibility of working together in areas like talent development, fashion shows, and performances for the many festivals celebrated in Malaysia.
“We organise a lot of events for the various festivals in Malaysi, and we would be happy to see Limkokwing University take part in it,” he said.
Limkokwing Fashion Club opened its fifth store at IOI City Mall earlier this year, the latest addition to its global presence and joining other boutique stores in London, Bali, KL, Cyberjaya.
The store at IOI Mall carries trademark Fashion Club ready-to-wear pieces that are inspired by Limkokwing University students.
Created and managed by both alumni and industry-savvy students from Malaysia’s most globalized university, Limkokwing Fashion Club is an innovative brand that excels in edgy, affordable-yet-luxe contemporary designs, offering sublime craftsmanship.
