Representatives from Guardian Malaysia, a certified Dairy Farm Group member, visited Limkokwing University on 6 August 2018 for the launch of their Fresh Breath for Malaysia campaign.
The industry visit was headed by Limkokwing alumna Michelle Yeap, the Brand Manager, Health & Beauty Own Brand Malaysia & Brunei at Guardian.
“It feels really good to be back here after 13 years,” Michelle told the packed audience at the Branding Gallery as she began her talk.
Michelle, who graduated with a Diploma in Multimedia and Software Engineering in 2003 from Limkokwing University, was also the proud recipient of the President Scholars’ Award, given to students who excelled in both academic and extra-curricular activities.
More than 200 students attended the session, where they were given an introduction to the brand and product, as well as the ongoing campaign launched in conjunction with National Day celebrations.
Fresh Breath for Malaysia
Michelle said the Fresh Breath for Malaysia campaign aims to empower youth to express themselves through visuals and multimedia that best captures the theme.
At the same time, it was also to promote better oral care practices while showcasing the newly launched Guardian Fresh Mouthwash range.
A total of RM 14,000 in cash prizes is up for grabs for the 10 best student entries, across the print and multimedia categories.
“This campaign provides industry experience to students with the opportunity to work on a wide available product,” said Michelle.
Submission on entries must be received before 16 September 2018, and more information on this campaign is available via participating faculties.
