A digital ninja and global citizen - Shohin from Tajikistan has set his career path towards digitalisation at Limkokwing University. With a background in Business Finance and Accounting, Shohin put his knowledge and skills to practice by constantly pitching fresh ideas during group projects and providing counselling services for students that are curious about the business industry.
“There are many constant trends that accrue, especially in the industry I’m currently working in, for example, nowadays most businesses and deals are done online. My home country, Tajikistan, is developing by the day. The online world has opened the doors especially for millennials who do everything on their mobile devices.”
Speaking about his day to day tasks Shohin highlighted that he interacts with different people from various countries which continuously broadens his marketing skills.
“There are various tasks that my job entails; this includes counselling potential students to assist them in finding the right programmes, checking the eligibility of their requirements and qualifications as well as creating new marketing campaigns to continuously attract more students from different countries across the globe.”
Currently Shohin is working on a marketing campaign to implement new recruitment strategies for Central Asian countries. He emphasised on the importance of multitasking, being able to speak two or more preferable languages, being social, welcoming and innovative to meet the application quota.
