A delegation of senior officials from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor went on a courtesy visit to meet the Founder and President of Limkokwing University on 16 January.
The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) is an economic-based, non-governmental organisation promoting and protecting the interests of the Chinese business community in the states of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The Chinese business community has traditionally established chambers of commerce in towns and cities throughout Malaysia to serve their commercial interests.
KLSCCCI acts as a major focal point for them, as well as government officials, to organise delegations and explore commercial and investment opportunities. Some of the KLSCCCI objectives include expanding economic opportunities by widening business connections and enabling the Chinese business community to integrate into the global network.
The KLSCCCI delegation comprises three senior KLSCCCI Council Members namely Datuk Albert Chiang (Chairman of the Public Relations and Tourism Committee), Mr. Gan Boon Khim (Chairman of the Industry Committee) and Ms. Ching Suh Miau (Deputy Executive Director of the KLSCCCI Secretariat).
After a brief tour of the University, the KLSCCCI delegation met the Founder and President of Limkokwing University Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Lim Kok Wing for a short close-door meeting.
