Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Broadcasting & Journalism
Broadcasting and journalism demands a combined set of skills and knowledge both in print and broadcasting industries. Broadcast copy is written to be read by a newscaster with accurate words and sentences which compliments picture, video and audio leading to a perfect story. Print journalists must prepare themselves to write, report and deliver the content for print parallel with the emergence of new media.
The television, radio and new media industries continue to evolve in exciting ways. As the news business moves more rapidly from printed newspapers to electronic news, the demand for graduates equipped for the industries of broadcasting and journalism will only grow, especially in areas that include politics, investigative journalism, talk shows, science and technology, entertainment and sports. The programme will train students to not only hone their writing and editing skills in broadcasting and journalism, but also to be more enterprising and inquisitive in order to stand out from the crowd.
“Majoring in broadcasting and journalism at Limkokwing University really helped me understand my work better in terms of creating content and storyboards, planning for voice overs and so many other things. Now, I can clearly plan out each content before we propose to the client.”

“There are a lot more companies with a lot younger people. It is just like 23-year-olds are starting companies, and they are scaling really quickly.”
