The conclusion of the first week of orientation programme ended with the new students participating in orientation activities. These activities were specifically designed to integrate them into Limkokwing University's multicultural learning experience.

According to orientation team member Azura Gozhakhmetic, the orientation programme was designed with the aims of helping students explore their potential and nurture their creative talent as a means to express themselves.

“This was done through various games and activities, with the added benefit of encouraging more teamwork and interaction. These interaction activities also serve as ‘ice-breakers’ for the Limkokwing Orientation Team. The programmes helped the students to build their confidence while discovering their hidden talents.”

Activities such as the Reaction Game, Scavenger Hunt and the Limkokwing Tale allowed students to get to know each other while learning to develop a greater appreciation for different cultures. Additionally, these interactive activities will help new students to learn to cooperate with each other, develop problem-solving skills and foster critical thinking abilities. The activities were designed based on Limkokwing University’s unique industry-focused approach, thus giving the students a glimpse of what studying at the University is about.

Azura also added that the orientation team was consisted of multinational individuals who value the importance of cross-cultural exposure.

“By exposing students to different cultures, they can learn to develop their networking skills that will enable them to establish prospective business connection with their peers.”

During the orientation programme, students were also taken around the campus to the facilities and services they would need during their study at the University. These students were given a tour to Limkokwing’s Presidential Library, International Gallery, Marketing, Visa Departments, Wings Radio and Photo labs.
