Where the previous version of the app was only usable by registered students of the University, the current edition can be accessed by both students and the general public.
Version 3 of the Android app was built from the ground up with enhanced security as well as improved graphics, stability and of course performance. Developed by the Centre of Content Creation (CCC), a specialized multimedia development company based within the framework of the University. The majority of its staff are Limkokwing alumni from various academic backgrounds including several award winning graduates. The team spent a lot of time retuning and testing the feel and design to ensure the app respected and fully utilized Google’s Holo guidelines. Students will be able to access core functions of the student portal all on the go.
Among the new features added to the app includes swipe gesture support and a customisable timetable that enables students to add notes and tasks to help them get organised. Students will need to log in using their existing Student Portal accounts, new students will receive this during their registration and existing students can collect theirs at the University’s Registry department. The app allows them to receive updates on the latest news, class schedules, exam results, downloadable course material as well as reminders on outstanding fees.
Where the previous version of the app was only usable by registered students of the University, the current edition can be accessed by both students and the general public. Students will be able to utilize every feature at their fingertips while the public can view news updates, details on courses and learn more about the University. Get the app for free on Google Play.
