Before she studied MBA in Project Management, Dayangku Nadia first learned about Limkokwing University from her brother in 2002 when her brother was still a student.
“He was one of the top students,” she said. “I could tell that Limkokwing has a very good teaching system.”
He told her that the University has students from foreign countries which sparked her interest in learning about new cultures. Students were encouraged to express their creativity and share their ideas. The University is also supportive of students from various countries while encouraging a friendly learning environment.
Choosing Limkokwing University
She chose Limkokwing University because she was interested in learning Networking and Programming courses.
“I started coding since I was 16 years old,” she said. “I used to run websites for my friends and benefited a lot from doing it.”
After she completed her Degree, she began to pursue her Masters in Project Management.
Being in Another Country
“It was not as rough as I thought it to be,” she said. “People here speak the same language as me.”
Her biggest challenges were learning to find her way around the country as Malaysia was bigger than her home country. She admits that she often would have difficulty in remembering places.
“Through Time, I managed to get used to it,” she said.
Embracing Different Cultures
“Limkokwing University had taught me to learn different cultures,” said Nadia.
She explains that meeting and being friends with people from different countries gave her a greater understanding of diversity and appreciation.
