The Ambassador of Germany, His Excellency Holger Michael, received a warm welcome on his official visit to Limkokwing University on 5 Nov.
He was greeted by the University’s German Exchange students currently studying at Limkokwing University before receiving a guided tour around the campus.
Ambassador Michael was accompanied by Head of the Cultural and Press Department Carsten Fischer to discuss future collaborations in capacity building and strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
After concluding his meeting with the University’s Founder and President Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Lim Kok Wing, Ambassador Michael took the time to visit booths that were set up for the German Cultural Exhibition.
The Cultural Exhibition allowed Ambassador Michael to personally meet and talk with students while trying out some of the exhibition’s activities.
Limkokwing University actively seeks to engage with various diplomatic and international organisations to expand its multinational affiliation. Students learn multicultural awareness while developing a globalised networking contact with friends from different countries.
