Limkokwing University welcomed visitors from the Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) Jerantut, Pahang. This visit was organised by the University’s Faculty of Design and Innovation on 2 Nov.
Consisting of 31 Industrial Product Design students with 9 accompanying teachers, the group came to learn more about the University’s industry focused education and multicultural learning approach. Through a guided tour around the premise, they surveyed the university’s machinery tools, technical facilities and workshop environment.
ADTEC and Limkokwing University aim to explore collaboration opportunities that will enable both institutions to develop knowledge sharing programmes. These include Smart Partnership (SP), Training Cum Production (TCP), Industrial Training and Industrial Attachment programmes.
The programmes enable enrolment options at Limkokwing University for further studies, receiving technical and machinery expertise, knowledge sharing courses and customised technical curriculum.
The University has been recognised as an industry reference and a source of inspiration by ADTEC teachers and students. ADTEC students will gain industry exposure through an internationally connected environment via the university’s global network.
“This place has a great social atmosphere which encourages creative ideas,” said Mohd Nasrul, an ADTEC student studying Industrial Product Design. “I like Limkokwing University’s learning environment because it focuses on personal growth.”
“I was impressed by the cultural diversity,” said Nur Hikmah bt Nor Azam also studying Industrial Product Design. “The flexible studying environment allows students to focus on the quality of their work.”
