The popular Pakserda Bazaar by Merah Putih returned to Limkokwing University from 6 to 10 March 2017.
Pakserda is an abbreviation of ‘Lapak Serba Ada’, which is literally translated to ‘stalls having everything’. This time, the Pakserda Bazaar was held at Courtyard 3 and featured 20 stalls selling Indonesian and local food, international cuisines, fashion accessories, books, posters, design services, to just name a few.
Held over a five-day period, the Pakserda Bazaar was a popular event and a success among Limkokwing international community. Sales were brisk, as many students and university staff were on hand when the bazaar opened at 9 am. The food stalls were particularly popular, with the food vendors having to make second helpings by 12 noon every day of the bazaar.
Pakserda Bazaar is an event organised and managed by Merah Putih Club, the Indonesian student community club in Limkokwing University. The club was created as a means to unite Indonesian students not only in Limkokwing University, but throughout Malaysia.
Events like Pakserda Bazaar is just one of many held by clubs and societies that represent the lively international community in Limkokwing University comprising more than 150 nations.
