The Get-A-Friend Campaign at Limkokwing University encourages current
students to contribute to the university's community growth by referring new
students. This initiative rewards participating students with a tuition fee
rebate once the referred student fulfils certain conditions. It's an engaging
way for students to be actively involved in expanding the university's diverse
and dynamic community.
Your friend must mention your name in the referral section while registering
online or specify the ‘Get-A-Friend’ campaign to their marketing counsellor
during the consultation. Both you and your friend are required to fill in a form
to claim your reward.

Procedure:
1. Applicant and student introducer to complete and provide all the required details in the (MKT001)
Get-A-Friend Campaign form. Any incomplete information will cause the application to be rejected.
2. Applicant and student introducer and then proceeds to submit the Get-A-Friend Campaign form to
Admissions department for processing. Admissions counsellor must be present to acknowledge the
applicant by filling and initialising the “remarks” section prior to processing. In the absence of the
applicant, student introducer may submit the form on his /her behalf. Closing date for Get-A-Friend
Campaign is one (1) week after commencement date of the programme applied.
3. Admissions department will inform the students (applicant and introducer), Bursary and Finance
departments once full payment by the new student is made.
4. Rebate of the referral fees will be disbursed by Finance department within thirty (30) days after
receiving the supporting documents from Admissions department.
*The rebate cannot be converted into cash and only be used to offset against introducer’s tuition
fees.

Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions for existing students to be eligible to receive the Student Referral Rebate
are as follows:
- The applicant referred must be a NEW student and MUST NOT be students that fall under the
following categories:
i. An existing student enrolled under any of the University’s programme
ii. Any student who is progressing from one programme to another
iii. Student who has previously been registered as a student at any of the campuses under
Limkokwing University
iv. The final referral fees paid out will be based on the balance of the referral fees after
offsetting the student discounts
- The applicant must fulfil all admission requirements for his/her chosen programme and be
granted admission.
- The student introducer must complete and submit the Get-A-Friend Campaign form to the
Admissions department before the applicant pays for one (1) complete year of programme tuition
fee, other resources and administration fee (excluding hostel fee). In the event if the student
introducer submits the Get-A-Friend Campaign form after the applicant has paid the registration fee,
the student introducer’s claim for the student referral rebate will NOT be entertained.
- The applicant shall be self-funding and / or under external sponsorship. Under this scheme, the
applicant cannot apply for tuition fee waiver.
- To be awarded the incentive, the applicant must pay for one (1) complete year of programme
tuition fee, other resources and administration fee (excluding the hostel fee) before the
commencement of semester.
- In the event that the applicant enrolls in more than one (1) programme, the student introducer
will only receive the referral rebate for the first programme that the applicant has started with.
g. Disbursement of the student referral rebate shall only be made after the applicant has paid for
one (1) complete year. In the event the student introducer withdraws /graduates from the
University before the applicant has made the full payment, the student introducer will not be eligible
for the referral rebate. The rebate is non-transferable.
- It is at the sole discretion of the University to review and rank the applicant for admission and to
place them on appropriate programmes according to the student’s academic performance and other
factors relevant to the application procedure. Meeting the general application criteria does not
guarantee admission to the University.
- The University reserves the right to change the Get-A-Friend Campaign structure at its discretion
and will notify relevant parties accordingly.
- The University also retains the right to terminate the programme at any time at its discretion.
