Women have made significant strides in many fields, but they are still underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Despite accounting for nearly half of the global workforce, women hold only a quarter of STEM jobs worldwide. There are many reasons for this, including stereotypes, a lack of female role models, and unconscious bias. However, with initiatives like those at Limkokwing University, more and more women are breaking down barriers and pursuing successful careers in STEM.
