They are in London on a learning adventure that will transform their lives forever. They are there to learn, absorb and experience the very best in a global environment designed to empower their future. They are “Generasi Baru” students spending a semester in the British capital as part of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology’s unique ‘Global Classroom’ programme.
Based at Limkokwing London, the 107 students – children of FELDA rural settlers – will interact through workshops, research tours, industry visits and places of interest such BBC, fashion centres, museums and tourist spots as part of the learning curve. The London experience is tailored by the University to enrich and widen the students’ knowledge, skills and confidence while inculcating in them a spirit of entrepreneurship to face the challenges of a global economic setting.
The students will be in London from 24 September to 18 January 2013. The programme is open to Malaysian students keen to absorb the best of global education at Limkokwing London campus located at 106, Piccadilly, right in the heartbeat of the United Kingdom.
