One Heart, One Nation: International Day for Tolerance 2014
16 November is the International Day for Tolerance. Declared by UNESCO in 1995, it is an annual day of observance to generate public awareness of the dangers of intolerance.
To celebrate this day, Limkokwing University, together with the Department of National Unity and Integration, and supported by the United Nations, will be holding the ‘One Heart, One Nation’ International Day for Tolerance celebration at Limkokwing University’s Hall of Fame from 8am till 1pm, on Sunday, 16 November 2014.
The event will be officiated by YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Kuruk, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
Come, set aside our differences and be united on this day of tolerance. The Limkokwing Choir will be performing live. There will also be an exhibition and a forum on unity and tolerance in our society.
The celebration is open to the public. All are welcome.
