For the third year in a row, Limkokwing stood proudly the one and only university from Asia to showcase its own collection on the world stage.

Themed ‘Date Night’, this year’s show gave spectators a mix of Asian and African tradition that alluded to a romantic modern mood between long distance lovers.
The design team worked together with students to create exquisite slim silhouettes that drew inspiration from their expeditions to Botswana, Swaziland, Kenya, Iran, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, China, India and Borneo.
“This collection should represent where we come from,” said Creative Director and University Vice President of Brand, Creativity & Talent Development, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim.
“Limkokwing is a very unique network. There was no way we would pass up the chance to say something about how we live and exchange ideas.”
“The designers went to these countries to search for the most inspiring traditional and cultural ideas, related to students’ lifestyle. Our collection is not a usual one, but was created with a special touch of uniqueness to express a feeling of romance and love through costume.”
She added that the success of the collection spoke of how well the team worked together and exchanged ideas.
