During his time in London, Tan Sri Lim met with the Generasi Global students who are studying in Limkokwing London for a semester.

Speaking with the Generasi Global students, Tan Sri Lim emphasised the fact that they are the bearers of imminent pioneering ideas and innovation that will transform Malaysia to make a positive change.

The students were ecstatic to meet Tan Sri Lim in person and several of them thanked him personally for the immense opportunity that he has given them to become better and more competitive individuals in a highly globalised environment.

The students extended their gratitude to Tan Sri Lim for making it possible for them to study in London, something which would otherwise not be possible for many of them and thanked him for making their “dreams come true” as described by Hidayeh Binti Mohamed, 21, who is currently pursuing her Diploma in Multimedia, Advertising & Broadcasting at Limkokwing London.

During the session, Limkokwing University Associate Vice President, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim was also on hand to present the student with gifts for the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha which made the students feel at home away from home.

As Tan Sri Lim’s parting message to the Generasi Global students, he implored them to use the skills they have acquired from their experiences in London to create better prospects for Malaysia. He added that it is empowered human capital that all countries have to build in order to drive their economies.
