Global Classroom visits Mini Cooper factory
Limkokwing University’s Global Classroom students had the opportunity to visit the world famous Mini Cooper factory in Oxford on 16th October 2012. Mini, originally made by British Motor Company back in 1959, was considered the British icon of the 1960s. By 1999, it was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century, just behind the Ford Model T. Today, a total of 1,581,887 Minis were sold in Britain, with many of its model before 1980 widely considered as a collector’s item.
